used in manufacturing various kind of products which are applied in
different kind of industries like Steel industry, Iron industry,
Construction Industry, automobile industry and various other industries.
Some of the products in which terra ferra is used as raw material are Iron
ore, Sponge iron, Power plants and Stainless steel raw material.
Iron is an element which is most widely used in all the metals. Due to the
softness of iron, it is commonly used in the form of steel. It can be used
in different form of iron & steel ranging from pig iron, cast iron,
wrought iron, alloy steel and carbon steel. Mined iron ore is used for
making steel.
In construction industry, raw iron can not be used as it is not very strong
& hard as required for the same. So, raw iron is alloyed with variety of
elements (such as tungsten, Manganese, nickel, vanadium & chromium) to
strengthen & harden it for making it useful for construction and
automobile industry.
